The DashForDevs dashboard is your command center. It is where you manage everything about your business — products, orders, customers, shipping, analytics, and more. No code required to use it.

Dark-Themed Interface

The dashboard features a modern dark theme by default, with full light mode support. You can switch between Light, Dark, and System themes in your profile settings. Your organization's brand color is applied throughout the interface for a personalized experience.

Dashboard Sections

Overview

  • Users — Customer management with profiles, tags, segments, order history, session tracking, and custom fields. Search across all customers, filter by tags or segments, and view detailed customer timelines.
  • Inventory — Product catalog with categories, brands, variants, sizes, pricing, stock levels, images, SEO fields, and custom fields. Bulk import via JSON.
  • Orders — Full order lifecycle: confirmed, processing, shipped, in transit, delivered. Payment status tracking, fulfillment, UPS shipping label generation, tracking updates, refunds (full and partial), and print-ready order sheets.
  • Discounts — Create percentage or fixed-amount discount codes, affiliate codes, and manage the discount store.
  • Locations — Physical store locations with addresses, hours, and map integration.
  • Reviews — Product review moderation with approval/rejection, image reviews, and star ratings.

Marketing

  • Media Library — Upload and manage images and files with CDN delivery.
  • Analytics — Integrations with PostHog, Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, Ahrefs SEO, ThoughtMetric, and UTM tracking. View traffic, top pages, devices, browsers, countries, conversion funnels, and more.
  • Blog — Full blogging system with rich text editor, categories, featured images, SEO fields, and analytics per post.
  • Page Types — Dynamic content pages for service businesses with custom field structures.

Communications

  • Contact Forms — View and manage storefront contact form submissions with status tracking and reply capability.
  • Emails — Compose and send emails to individual customers or bulk audiences. Full thread view with reply support.

Operations

  • Finance — Revenue overview, expense tracking, and transaction history.
  • Geography — State-level order data with tax and revenue breakdowns.
  • Tax — Configure state-level tax rates.
  • Tools — Task organizer with Kanban boards for team project management.

Settings

  • API — Manage API keys, allowed origins, webhooks, environment variables, and API request logs.
  • Team — Invite team members, create custom roles with granular permissions, and organize into departments.
  • Billing — View invoices, manage payment methods, track subscription and usage.
  • Integrations — Connect email providers (Klaviyo, Resend), analytics platforms, shipping carriers, and payment processors all from one place.
  • Organization — General settings, branding (logos, theme color), security, notifications, and legal compliance.

Three Dashboard Types

When you create an organization, you choose a type that tailors the sidebar and available features:

  • E-Commerce — Shows products, orders, inventory, shipping, carts, reviews, discounts, and locations.
  • Wholesale — Same as e-commerce plus bulk pricing, B2B order workflows, and tax management.
  • Service — Replaces product-focused features with page types for dynamic content management, ideal for agencies and consultants.

Role-Based Access

Not everyone on your team needs to see everything. The dashboard uses a granular permission system:

  • Owner — Full access to everything, including billing and organization settings.
  • Admin — Full access except organization deletion and ownership transfer.
  • Manager — Access to day-to-day operations: orders, products, customers, but not billing or API keys.
  • Custom Roles — Create roles with specific permission codes. For example, a "Fulfillment" role that can only view orders and generate shipping labels.

Branding

Your dashboard adapts to your brand:

  • Brand Color — Pick from presets (Indigo, Orange, Sky, Pink, Emerald) or enter a custom hex. The entire dashboard UI updates to match.
  • Logos — Upload a square logo (used as favicon and avatar) and a horizontal logo (used in headers).
  • Organization Name — Shown in the sidebar, page titles, and emails.

Next Steps

Ready to set up your storefront? Head to Installation to install the SDK, or explore the dashboard by creating an account.

When this is working, the same two commands end to end shows what the finished path looks like.
