App deploys (the site itself)

1. Source — pick a repo and production branch from the connected GitHub account.
2. Size — an instance tier from 512 MB/$5 to 4 GB/$50; the platform is billed cost + 5% buffer, and the Servers page reconciles to the same numbers.
3. Provision — the backend creates the DigitalOcean App Platform app with the site's env (keys included) injected, and the panel polls build phases live (building → deploying → active) rather than making you tab over to a cloud console.
4. DNS — Cloudflare points the domain at the app's ingress automatically after the first deploy; a retry button covers the not-ready-yet cases, plus a proxy toggle.
