#Finance

Under Finance in the sidebar:

• Overview: revenue, refunds, fees and profit over any period;
• Expenses and the expense tracker: what the business spends, by category;
• Integrations: connect accounting tools.

The month-end workbook gathers the period's sales, refunds, tax and expenses into one export for your accountant.

#Tax

Under Finance → Tax:

• Tax classes let products be taxed differently (for example food versus general goods);
• rates come from tax tables DashForDevs maintains per state, including excise rules, and are re-checked regularly;
• checkout, draft orders and order edits all use the same tax engine, so the numbers always agree.
